Oh yes, the primary quest-giving Wastelanders NPC's are in instanced party-only areas. There are still many bugs that are remnants of the original release, such as enemies floating in mid-air, unable to be touched or ones that will follow you to the ends of the earth. You'll find floating objects, bugged quests, buildings, and more.
It can still look great and it can still be a pleasure to explore, but the cons outweigh the pros of a game that felt more dated than its predecessor which launched three years earlier. The inclusion of NPC's adds life and meaning to what was a sterile world, The new quests can allow you to solve them without it resulting in combat - again, thanks to the inclusion of NPC's, Features a number of memorable and enjoyable characters thanks to some excellent writing, All of the non-NPC related cons from Fallout 76 standard, You still have to play Fallout 76 standard to play the full Wastelanders content, Extra bugs that weren't present join the majority of old bugs, The new content is difficult to enjoy with other people, Microtransactions and the subscription underline the terrible mechanics hindering the fun of the game. I've found myself laughing and smiling, I've actually cared about some of the characters even more than I thought I would.
