Soon the students at Ever After High later begin to realize that as Royals and Rebels, they are all part of the entire school and they can all attend to the party, but are faced with three problems that are in need of solving as Ashlynn Ella, who is too shy to attend to the party, Poppy O'Hair who thinks she's too independent, but needs to accept taking extra support from her sister, Holly and a mysterious teenager named Snow Claus, son of Santa Claus who searches for his true destiny to be come his father's and sister's little helper, but was not accepted as a student at Ever After High and soon gets a serious reality check after he disobeyed his family by sneaking out of the his home to get away from his troubles, caused the Rebels to become overexcited when he made some magical changes on the invitations and deliberately upsets Apple due to his short-tempered presence full of misery, selfishness and betrayal.

For me this is a fantastic film, it is a wonderful story that keeps to the basic story of Cinderella but with differences that make it more realistic rather than just a fairy-tale. Here starts Danielle's adventure, unbeknownst to her stepmother and sisters.

I showed it to my teenage daughter now it is her favorite movie too. The kids of fairy-tale characters attend a school with two cliques: those who accept their fairy-tale destinies and those who want to write their own. She never pursued the Prince for ambitious reasons and actually found him arrogant, but he wins her over by making changes himself that are influenced by her and she truly falls in love with him.
She makes me want to be a better person after watching how she passionately lives life no matter what the circumstances.

Melanie Lynskey and Megan Dodds are compelling as the good (yes, that's a switch) and evil step-sisters, and Timothy West and Judy Parfitt are compulsively watchable as the unhappily, but well-, matched king and queen.
Drew Barrymore and Dougray Scott are thrilling as the title couple, Anjelica Huston is exquisite as the venomous step-mother. Anyway, I saw this on Channel 4 a few weeks ago, but I only managed to catch the end of it, I was enchanted by it.

This is one of my favorite versions of Cinderella, besides from the Disney cartoon version (I did NOT like the recent Disney live-action version). One of the best scenes-besides when the prince went after her to apolagize for his actions at the ball and propose to her-was when Danielle-the Cinderella in the story played by Drew Barrymore-punched the wicked sister for telling her her real mom was dead and having her fall over the bed. She handed me a copy and said "it's very you" - and how right she was! Blondie Locks
